Remembering D-Day: London to the Normandy Beaches

June 6, 1944, is arguably one of the most important days of the Twentieth-Century. Without Allied Victory in Normandy, the outcome of World War II would have looked very different. Even now, after more than 75 years, standing on the beaches of Normandy has to be one of the most emotional travel experiences I have.
